The Launch of Goodrich Global 'Artistic Surfaces'
Artistic Surfaces Launch Party
16 May 2019
Fashion and fantasy meets interiors at the Goodrich Gallery recent launch of "Artistic Surfaces".
Singapore's design cognoscenti descended at the gallery to get a taste of the latest interior decorating offerings featuring trending wallcovering, fabric and flooring. Inspired by block buster movie "Crazy Rich Asians", the gallery is dressed fashionably in a sea of chic geometrics in opulent hues. A whimsical wallcovering flanking one wall featured fowl headed walking sticks; one of many dreamy motifs in the latest Fornasetti collection for English wallpaper brand Cole & Son titled "Senza tempo".
On a lighter and breezier note, a lounging corner is decorated with drapes and upholstery by Camengo. The France based textile house inspired guests with the beauty of Cerulean blue as the "perfect" shade of blue to have as decorating tool.
Goodrich Global's Chief Operating Officer, Yasushi Furukawa kicked the evening off with a welcoming speech, highlighting the company's conversion as a consolidated subsidiary of Sangetsu Corporation since December 2017. Both of the firms' history has been closely entwined for more than two decades as working partners and industry leaders in delivering architectural solutions through an extensive range of wallcovering, fabric, carpet and flooring materials in Asia.
The launch was also ideal for design professionals to experience product offerings displaying fine Japanese craftsmanship and diversifications such as Reatec, Glass Film, SP and XSelect wallcovering to penetrate the Developers' market.
The gallery was packed to the brim with interior designers, decorators and design consultants who were anticipating the latest decorating trends from the industry leader. In between cocktails and delicious food, presentations from brand principals; Style Library (Harlequin), Camengo, J. Josephson and Tuntex kept guests rooted to their seats and later on the gallery floors trawling its colourful products isles.
A fully laden fruit and cheese table kept the networking session in full swing. Lucky prizes for the evening include a new Samsung A50 phone, an IPAD and shopping vouchers.
