Get Enchanted

An exuberant artistic performance

December 14, 2017

Chilean director Manuela Infante brings an exuberant performance in Vegetative State with actress Marcela Salinas, probing into the manner in which plants think, communicate and express.

Slim and easy-to- operate, the Ariston’s Andris SL20 is the perfect storage water heater for stylish bathrooms.

The Singapore International Festival of Arts has been inspiring the local crowd through International and Singaporean art experiences in theatre, dance and performance. This year, the festival featured a curatorial theme of Enchantment to channel the unexpected into the lives of visitors and ultimately enlighten visitors.

Some of the programs include MARK by Daniel Kok, a nine-men dance troupe attempting a collective drawing through paint, gestures and coloured powder. Another performance titled Vegetative State, sees Chilean star director Manuela Infante rethink the ways in which plants can transform and affect humans.

Aside from the exuberant performances, free artist talks were held to encourage dialogue between artists and audience under the SIFA Shares series. In a hands- on interactive workshop, American paper artist Dave Cameron explored the art of creative papermaking and highlight the innovative practice and process.
